The towers are the most iconic element of the Kaohsiung Pop Music Center .
The spaces for the music industry are distributed in them: rehearsal rooms, offices, exhibitions, etc.
Each of the towers emerges from an auditorium, the tallest tower continues the "wave" that rises in the Concert Hall and the smallest tower is the backdrop for the large open-air auditorium .

As can be seen on this website, in the competition phases ( phase1 and phase2 ), the towers were separated creating a space between them where the external auditorium extended.
During the project we had to rethink its position so that the residential areas were more protected from acoustic impact when there were outdoor concerts.
Finally they were arranged back to back generating a crack where we organized a large atrium to access both towers.
These towers are part of the city skyline and can be easily recognized from any point, leading the visitor to the port as if they were a great lighthouse .

The hexagonal skin , which allows continuity between the horizontal plane of the auditorium roof and the plane of the tower's facade, makes this building a building without perceptible scale .
It is difficult to measure it with the naked eye and to relate it to its neighboring buildings, it gives the feeling of having other parameters. It is a being from another planet that appears between the rest of prismatic buildings.

At night, as if it were a marine animal, it emits lights that rhythmically cover the ranges between pinks and blues. This beat is that of the music contained in the building inside.
